Parental Advisory needed at Andy Stanley’s Church? Repeated Suggestive Openers

Andy Stanley’s North Point Community Church may need to issue parental advisories for suggestive content in their worship services. I found another instance of suggestive content during one of their official Sunday worship service openers. A few days ago I covered their use of “I love the way you turn me on” in a worship opener.

They have also done Can’t Stop the Feeling. I’ll post snippets of the original lyrics, then you can watch a video and hear for yourselves. They did some adjusting of the lyrics, but not enough.

These really aren’t things we should hear in an official Sunday worship service. First because it takes the focus off of the Gospel and creates an entertainment atmosphere, and second maybe because parents don’t want their children hearing this stuff.

Validating a Necromancer? Hillsong’s Brian Houston and Necromancer Shawn Bolz – Close Contact Ministry

Is Brian Houston of Hillsong Church validating the ministry of a necromancer?

Why is Brian Houston of Hillsong Church scheduled to do close contact ministry with the likes of Bethel Redding, Bill Johnson, and Shawn Bolz at the Open Heavens Conference in October of 2016?

Why is Steven Furtick of Elevation Church doing close contact ministry with Brian Houston at various Hillsong Church conferences?

Why is Steven Furtick doing close contact ministry with someone who is scheduled to do close contact ministry with the likes of Bethel Redding, Bill Johnson, and Shawn Bolz?

At this point some of you are right with me, because you understand the concerns surrounding these people. Some of you may not understand the concerns. I’ll provide a brief explanation for those needing further information.

Shawn Bolz claims he had an encounter with an angel described as the Minister of Finance for the Kingdom.

The Lord’s audible voice filled the room, introducing the angel standing before me: “Welcome the Minister of Finance for the Kingdom.” So begins the unfolding of Shawn Bolz’s visitations from God’s heavenly messenger, His Minister of Finance. Heavenly resources have only one purpose-that Jesus Christ would receive His full reward and inheritance in our age.

Shawn Bolz claims he sees dead people. That’s necromancy. Scripture forbids this in Deut. 18:10-12 and Lev. 19:31.

Chris Rosebrough of Pirate Christian Radio has covered Shawn Bolz. Rosebrough exposes the open theist leanings of Shawn Bolz. Here Rosebrough tests the fruits of Bolz, and finds he mimics the Long Island Medium. He also covered the necromancy of Shawn Bolz.

Shawn Bolz is guilty of necromancy, has open theistic leanings, and very concerning practices. Brian Houston of Hillsong Church is doing close contact ministry with him. That is very concerning.

Volumes could be written on the concerns surrounding Bethel Redding and Bill Johnson. I’ll give a few breadcrumbs, use your favorite search engine to find more.

Brian Houston of Hillsong Church is a global mega name, and he’s scheduled to do close contact ministry with a necromancer. Houston wields major influence and his ultra close association with the necromancer Shawn Bolz at the Open Heavens conference will give validation to the ministry of a necromancer.

Steven Furtick also wields a lot of influence. Does he validate the ministry of Brian Houston by doing close contact ministry with him at Hillsong conferences? What does it say about Furtick’s discernment? He’s doing close contact ministry with a man who is scheduled to do a conference with a necromancer.

Influence and associations matter in Christian ministry. People may trust the necromancy of Shawn Bolz because a heavy hitter like Brian Houston is scheduled to do close contact ministry with him.

 

 

 

Is there a concerning linking of Steven Furtick to Bethel Redding, Bill Johnson and Shawn Bolz?

Is there an important and concerning linking and association between Brian Houston, Bethel Redding, Bill Johnson, Shawn Bolz, and Steven Furtick? One of my strengths is scavenging for data, but one of my weaknesses is connecting dots and finding important connections. I’m asking for your input on this one. Please let me know if there is a “there there”.

In my Facebook feed I have seen two concerning ads which seem to link or associate some big names and people with really bad doctrine and practices.

First is this ad about Open Heavens at Bethel Redding Church, October 4-6, 2016. You’ll notice Brian Houston of Hillsong, Bill Johnson of Bethel Redding, and Shawn Bolz.

Second are the ongoing Hillsong Conference 2016 ads featuring Steven Furtick which puts him in association with Brian Houston.

I think most people reading this blog are aware of the issues with Bethel Redding and Bill Johnson. Shawn Bolz is known for his cold readings and psychic like “prophecies”. Read here if you need some catching up on Shawn Bolz.

So you have Brian Houston clearly ministering with and associating with the likes of Bethel Redding, Bill Johnson and Shawn Bolz. You then have Steven Furtick ministering and associating with Hillsong and Brain Houston who have said associations with Bethel Redding, Bill Johnson and Shawn Bolz.

Is that one degree of separation or association between Furtick and Bethel Redding/Bill Johnson/Shawn Bolz somehow significant? If yes, why is it significant?

I keep seeing Furtick associating with someone who associates with the craziness of Bethel Redding, Shawn Bolz, and Bill Johnson, and I think there is something there, I just can’t put my finger on it. Can you? Assuming there is something there. Is this whole thing a stretch?

“Baby love the way you turn me on.” North Point Community Church.

I just went over to North Point Community Church’s Facebook page to look at their post linking to their 90’s Sunday worship opener. I recently did an entry on their intro and a lyric in the intro.

I noticed NPCC has changed the privacy settings on their video. It’s no longer visible on VIMEO, or on any websites externally linking to it. It is visible on their blog.

Anyways, while looking at their Facebook post I noticed some still defending the use of “Baby I love the way you turn me on” in an official church worship service.

I made a new video with the scene repeated over and over and over and over and . ..

My hope? That through repetition it would finally sink in.

Hand Over Church to Millionaires & Trust in Riches – Michael Chitwood’s Depraved Mind

Millionaires need to take our churches back so America can dream again according to a Facebook post from Michael Chitwood the lead person of a ministry called Potential Church.

Chitwood directs us to look to riches as a reason for hope. Scripture directs us away from hoping in riches.

¹As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy. 1 Timothy 6:17 ESV

Scripture also says those viewing godliness as a means of gain have a depraved mind and are deprived of the truth.

Teach and urge these things. ³ If anyone teaches a different doctrine and does not agree with the sound^[b] words of our Lord Jesus Christ and the teaching that accords with godliness, ⁴ he is puffed up with conceit and understands nothing. He has an unhealthy craving for controversy and for quarrels about words, which produce envy, dissension, slander, evil suspicions, ⁵ and constant friction among people who are depraved in mind and deprived of the truth, imagining that godliness is a means of gain. ⁶ But godliness with contentment is great gain, ⁷ for we brought nothing into the world, and^[c] we cannot take anything out of the world.⁸ But if we have food and clothing, with these we will be content. ⁹ But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. ¹⁰ For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. People like Chitwood need to call upon God and ask God to grant them repentance so they trust in what Jesus did for them, and not in riches.

If you believe in teachings like Chitwood’s please understand it’s not biblical, but is rather worldly and depraved. I used to believe in this nonsense too, but God was gracious enough to open my eyes to the truth and grant repentance. Call upon God, he’s more than willing to forgive and change your mind and heart too.

According to scripture she should be keeping the “tongue” to herself.

If this “mature” woman in the “prophetic” doesn’t understand or follow the very simple revelation concerning tongues in the word of God, why should we trust what she’s saying is from God?

“Love the way you turn me on” During Worship North Point Community Church

“Love the way you turn me on.” “You got the right stuff, baby.”

Imagine you’re sitting in church on Sunday during an official worship service, and singers on stage are singing those lyrics. Would you really want to hear lyrics about how a girl turns a guy on because she has the right stuff baby? That’s what happened during a Sunday worship service at North Point Community Church. They opened an official Sunday worship service with hits from the 1990s.

 

As I have said before, this is not the right atmosphere to set for an official worship service. The focus should be on Jesus, not on how the pretty baby lady turned the singer on in the 1990s.
