Kris Vallotton of Bethel Redding just taught the principle that God lets us see rich people so we can see what God wants us to become. The overarching principle that he was teaching is that we can only become what we behold.
Vallotton grossly mangles 1 John 3:2
2 Beloved, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears[a] we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is.
He strips this passage of its overarching gospel message of future hope, and reengineers it into a mind science doctrine of man. The Satanic mind science religions teach that if you want something you have to first create a vision of it in your mind, and then what you behold in your mind becomes a reality.
This is a doctrine and tradition of man and is not found in scripture.
